How to Measure Your Nails
For the best fit, measure the width of each natural nail before choosing your Luxe Reign size. You’ll need a soft, flexible measuring tape with millimeter (mm) markings. Measure both hands, as the same finger may be slightly different in size from one hand to the other.
Step 1 — Find the Widest Part of Your Nail
Look at your natural nail from above. You’re measuring across the nail from left to right, not from the cuticle to the tip. Find the widest part of the nail bed—usually around the middle of the nail.
Step 2 — Position Your Measuring Tape
Place the 0 mm mark of the measuring tape at one side of your natural nail where the nail meets the skin. Gently curve the tape across the surface of your nail to the opposite side.
The tape should follow the natural curve of your nail rather than being held straight above it.
Step 3 — Read Your Measurement
Look at the millimeter mark where the opposite edge of your nail ends. That number is the width of your natural nail in millimeters.
For example, if your nail begins at 0 and the opposite edge reaches 14 mm, your nail width is 14 mm.
Step 4 — Measure All 10 Nails
Repeat the process for your thumb, index, middle, ring and pinky fingers on both hands. Write each measurement down. Don’t assume your right and left hands are exactly the same.
Step 5 — Compare Your Measurements
Use your measurements to compare your nails with the Luxe Reign sizing chart and choose Small, Medium, or Large based on the closest overall fit.
Luxe Reign Pro Tip: If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger option. A press-on that’s slightly too wide can often be gently filed along the side edges for a more customized fit. A press-on that’s too narrow cannot provide full side-to-side coverage.
Before You Apply: Always dry-fit each press-on before adding glue or an adhesive tab. The nail should cover your natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without sitting on the surrounding skin or feeling uncomfortably tight.
